REFRACTIVE SURGERY

LASIK
LASIK is a method of treating refractive errors such as myopia, hypermetropia and astigmatism. In this method we create a corneal flap with the help of a mechanical microkeratome or with the femtosecond laser and with the simultaneous action of
the underlying corneal layer according to the patient refractive profile. After the cornea is reshaped, the flap is repositioned. The duration of the operation is short and the restoration of vision very fast.

PRK
The TRANS-PRK surface photoablation method is the most advanced form of PRK. This method does not require the mechanical removal of the corneal epithelium with alcohol or with a surgical knife, which is done exclusively with the laser and with the appropriate preparation of the cornea. With this method we achieve similar results to classic PRK and at the same time we have a shorter postoperative recovery, better epithelization and milder postoperative pain.
